Quinn Patrick, MSW Intern (they/them & She/her)

Hello, my name is Quinn! I’m a white, asexual, aromantic, agender intern in my final year of gaining an MSW at Loyola University Chicago. I draw from different modalities including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help individuals grow confidence in themselves and learn more about themselves and their feelings of anxiety and depression. I also hope to leverage my perspective to help those who are transgender, gender non-conforming, asexual, or questioning. I understand that gender and sexuality can be a confusing journey for some, me included, and so I am passionate about helping clients who are struggling to find themselves in this binary, hypersexual society. I believe clients are the experts in their own lives, and that therapy is a process of self-discovery and self-acceptance. My role as therapist is to help clients explore themselves in a safe and hopefully comfortable space and to provide tools and skills to help them through life’s challenges. I am excited to be a part of others' journeys and look forward to working with you!
